So we use to go to a venue called "The Venue" here in Boise.. the women who owned it was a great friend of ours, she has been booking us since we were little kids and always let us come to stay at her home with her family. We would do wash and get fresh sheets as she would feed us a late dinner and stay up and tell tour stories.. We called her MOM.. She was great and however she decided to sell The Venue and get out of the business we did not see her this time around. I hope she is doing well and am thankful for all the nights she booked us and took care of us.

So we went down the street this time and played at the knitting factory.. No moshing and very strict on the dancing... It made for a very weird vibe in the room and awkward crowd participation.

However down the street from the club is an Urban Outfitters... I enjoy Urban Outfitters as they have some of the only types of clothes that fit me well enough to purchase, but all the UO seem to have the EXACT SAME clothing in all their stores.. booooriiinngg..

I was thinking about this shirt but remembered that I'm trying to lease an apartment for my wife and I to actually have our own home.. so I did the right thing and put it back.. But she's a beaut right?

Actually got to have a conversation with the vocalist of I The Breather the other day about how it's difficult to keep a balance between screaming and performing and how we as vocalist can often get winded just by trying to find that balance.. He's got a great voice and it's pretty loud but I wanted to give him a few tips and talk singer talk... haven't done that in years.. it was good to catch up with some of the touring musicians that I don't get to see on the regular.. Here he is belting out a scream!

After the show I ran met up with some kids at the barricade in front of the stage and shook some hands and took some photos.. we weren't able to post up a merch table as there was no room for us but I did get time in with the fans and followers to catch up. Some kids are really wanting to hear older songs as others requested for violins or stringed instruments on the next album. So I will try and keep that in mind for the future Boise!!

The night ended with me talking with my wife on the phone and eating my cold dinner "PF CHANGS" .... so i thought... but NO! We ended up going to WAL-MART a Godsend for any touring musician!! Have I mentioned I love pickles?

I tried going healthy this trip... however what you can't see is the box of microwavable velveeta mac and cheese in the background. haha Love the mac and cheese. ..

After our Wal-Mart we ended up watching the latest Star Trek movie ... never been a geek until last night.. really pretty good watch!

Thanks Boise for a great show, great food and shopping, and tips for the next album!
