HeartSupport teams up with headphone brand Heavys to bring songs of hope at top quality

HeartSupport and top-quality headphone brand Heavys have teamed up with a shared focus on bringing songs of hope to listeners at the highest possible auditory quality.

Heavys has released a custom over-the-ear headphone shell featuring the HeartSupport logo. All sales revenue from this particular model of the headphones will be donated to HeartSupport to fuel their unique music-driven, community-led mental health support.

The partnership is a two-way street. HeartSupport’s resident therapist Taylor Palmby, who heads up the viral Therapist Reacts series on YouTube, is wearing the headphones in her videos. It’s a moment for brand cohesion, and it’s also an opportunity to make viewers aware that they can represent the cause while listening to the music they love.

Heavys headphones are designed with interchangeable shells, so once listeners have a base set of headphones, they can switch between a variety of aesthetics. In general, Heavys has been known to partner with artists like Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage, Motörhead, and Motionless in White. By partnering with HeartSupport, they are making a statement that they don’t care about the music alone — they care about the people who are listening to it.

“Heavys will be donating all proceeds from their custom-designed shells to the organization and have provided the whole staff with a new set of headphones as appreciation for their hard work supporting metalheads across the globe,” Heavys said about the partnership.

“I think the coolest part about partnering with Heavys is that it’s helping us give people a way to display their heart to heal the scene,” HeartSupport’s Program Manager Bryce Maopolski explains. “Heavys works in the heavy scene. They’re giving people in the heavy music scene an opportunity to show people, when they’re listening to music, that this is something they care about. It’s giving people the opportunity to show their passion for mental health support in the scene.”

The partnership has been in the works for a long time, and it was sparked in the same territory where HeartSupport has been so effectively meeting the music community for years: social media. The Heavys team came across one of HeartSupport’s Instagram reels, recognizing the worth and the weight of the mission.

Heavys commented, “We need to get you some of our headphones!”

The rest is history
