HeartSupport enters Suicide Prevention Month 2026 with festival appearances and chances for music fans to help others
As HeartSupport enters September, National Suicide Prevention Month in the United States, we are preparing for a stacked lineup of five on-the-ground festival activations and opportunities for fans to help other fans access mental health support.
These crucial moments of on-the-ground presence at festivals are only made possible by music fans who donate what they can because they believe in healing their scene by providing peer-led care to the people around them. To keep showing up, we need you to show up with us.
Will you consider giving what you can to support our outreach as we step into Suicide Prevention Month?
HeartSupport’s September 2026 festivals
It’s already been a full summer of festivals for HeartSupport as our booth and Support Wall have been on the ground at some of the biggest events in hard music. But with a full September and several more activations before the end of the year, festival season is far from over.
HeartSupport will be present at:
Velocity Festival in Dyersville, Iowa
The Gr8 Hudson Valley Rock Festival in Wappingers Falls, NY
Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky
Bourbon and Beyond in Louisville, Kentucky
There will be hundreds of thousands of attendees between these five festivals. Every single one will walk in through the gates carrying something: grief, heartbreak, mental health struggles, and difficulty finding community. We will be ready to offer them a place where they can bring those heavy things and be held.
Join HeartSupport in National Suicide Prevention Month
National Suicide Prevention Month is a crucial time for those of us who believe that mental health matters. Taking place throughout September, with World Suicide Prevention Day happening on September 10, Suicide Prevention Month is a powerful moment for all of us to stand together and remind each other that there are reasons to stay.
Songs still to be heard.
Concerts to be attended.
Friends to be made.
HeartSupport is committed to bringing this message to every festival where we activate, to our local chapters across the United States, and to the content we share online. But we can only do that with your support.
Consider donating as part of Suicide Prevention Month, taking a tangible action to support those who may be struggling. Post about a song that encourages you to stay and tag us on Instagram. Reshare our posts throughout the month as we make resources available.
And remember, if you or someone you know is in crisis, call 988.
We look forward to this pivotal month of healing the scene with you!
