HeartSupport’s commitment to their mission continues with registered trademark status

HeartSupport has continued to position itself as a leading voice in the overlapping space between music and mental health throughout 2025. The most recent step? Accomplishing registered trademark status with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

This step forward represents a continued shift by official governing bodies to recognize HeartSupport’s legitimacy and health as a nonprofit organization.

“It affirms that HeartSupport is recognized as a unique and protected brand. It safeguards the name of the movement you’ve helped build — so when people see HeartSupport, they know it’s us,” explains Executive Director Nate Hilpert. “It strengthens our foundation as we continue to grow, partner with bands, and expand into new projects.”

It’s the latest step in two consecutive years of significant growth and development for the organization, who also landed accreditation through the Better Business Bureau earlier in 2025. Since reassessing the organization’s priorities in early 2024, the organization has seen explosive growth: both online in their custom peer-to-peer support capacity and through live event deployments at concerts, festivals, and tours of every size. The organization is in the later half of 2025 with the majority of its annual goals met or exceeded.

As always, Hilpert attributes the organization’s continued success to the community-first model that leads at every level.

He says, “This registration doesn’t change what we do, but it does help ensure that the HeartSupport name will continue to stand for hope, healing, and community in the years ahead. Thank you for being part of this journey. You’re the reason HeartSupport is more than a name: it’s a movement.”

If you’re ready to take the next step as part of the movement, you can donate or volunteer to help heal the scene today!
