Second 2026 cohort of local support walls launches

As part of HeartSupport’s ongoing goal of launching 20 new local, volunteer-led Support Walls in 2026, we’re preparing for the launch of our second cohort of city chapters!

The first cohort is already powerfully healing the scene in their own community, as this story from Minneapolis proves. Cohort two is about to start making the exact same impact, with tight-knit volunteer teams in each city bringing a Support Wall to facilitate mental health support and healing at concerts and events in their cities.

The second cohort of cities includes:

  • Eastern PA

  • Minneapolis, MN

  • Orlando, FL

  • Albany, NY

  • Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

  • Seattle, WA

  • Springfield, MO

  • Salt Lake City, UT

  • Charlotte/Raleigh, NC

  • Atlanta GA/Chattanooga, TN

  • Phoenix/Tucson, AZ

  • Des Moines, IA

  • Atlantic City, NJ

  • NYC, NY

  • More being assembled right now!

Right now, if you’re living near Baltimore/Washington DC, Los Angeles, or Cleveland, you have the chance to step in as Team Leader to make these launches a success! Each of these teams already has members ready to go as soon as they have someone in the role of Team Leader.

A Team Leader:

  • Builds a full team of other members

  • Talks with local venues and promoters to find shows to activate the Support Wall

  • Commit to fundraising $1800 (which covers half of a Support Wall’s production costs — we fundraise the other half for you and meet in the middle!)

  • Coordinate team members

  • Volunteer at shows

Build community while healing your local scene

The launch of these cohorts of city chapters represents far more than just sending a Support Wall to cities to set up at concerts (as significant and life-changing as that already is by itself). It also represents the birth of a new community, new friendships, and the chance to find support from like-minded friends.

As we’ve brought the Support Wall across the country to festivals and concerts, one of the most common themes we see confessed on the red tiles is the deep sense of isolation and loneliness that so many people are struggling with. When you join a local chapter, you get added to a Discord server full of other music fans with shared values of authenticity and inclusion. You’ll have the chance to spend concerts and events with new friends, and you’ll meet others in the local scene at the Support Wall once you’ve begun activating it.

This is truly a chance to make friends and be part of bringing hope and healing to your community in a way that naturally amplifies itself.

Here is some of what participants from the first cohort of cities have already said:

It’s incredible to see the Carolinas’ first Support Wall in action and seeing people come together and heal the scene.

This is what it’s all about. We’re a community and music saves lives and brings us together. You are not alone and you are enough.
— HeartSupport Carolinas
What an incredible show! The response was overwhelming! We were able to support a lot of people. All of those people received support back! Thank you to all who stopped by and said hello, asked what we are about and our new followers. Of course a HUGE thank you to all of the brave souls who were kind enough to share their vulnerable side with us! Complete strangers! You are all amazing, beautiful, wonderful, kind individuals who truly matter and make the world a better place by just being here!
— HeartSupport Minneapolis

This is what healing the scene looks like in action — and it’s still just beginning.

If you want to be a part of any current or future chapters, sign up now as either a Team Member or a Team Leader!
